Anyway to hold you over for now. I will show you my latest toy collection!
I have always been inspired by Walt Disney's life story. It is very inspiring, how many times he went bankrupt and ups and downs the whole way...before making a HUGE enterprise and revolutionizing animation today. I keep collecting Oswald the lucky rabbit to have around me in my room and studio as a reminder for when I am down. Oswald was one of Disneys first real animated creations, though he did not make it and is not famous like his brother mickey...he gives me hope because it helps me realize the first one may NOT be the success you wanted it to be and to just keep going on like in meet the robinsons keep moving forward.
After my charms sold, I split the money, half to make a second 300 hundred charms, and the OTHER half to spoil myself with my collection.
SO along with my love of oswalds classic era look, and my love of creepy circus as well as cirque de soile stuff...I found THESE magical guys

Trying To unwind.
Getting ready for Boston Comic Con this weekend. I got a little nerv racked today after lack of sleep, So I took this nice weather and did some theraputic gardening. I repotted my indoor plants and let them soak up the sun. Last year the contractors and the dogs killed all of my herbs. So I replanted some on the deck. I have a lovely blooming Hyacenth from my mom, a Aloe Vera plant and Cleois and spider plant from my friend sam, and a philodendrian from my friend mary. I recently got Thyme, English lavender and sweet basil for my spice garden. My mom also asked me to plant some dill and chives. Which is fine I love the smell of fresh herbs and Greenery. In other news I am moving into my Studio April 12 the day after the convention. I am soooo excited. I will post a video tour of it. Its off to michigain for some family bonding with my grandparents, aunts uncles, cousins 1st and second and so on. I have to say...working out of home SUCKS. I constantly get interupted and have my stuff RUINED. most of my projects dont get enough focus or attention I would love to give them for this reason. So knowing I have my own studio is just...so amazing. It is offical that I will be going to Conneticon and New York Comic con as well. I just need a dealers licenese for Conneticutt.
I would have posted the t-shirts sooner however I have been waiting for my heat press to arrive. Ugh. Murphys law. if it could go wrong it will go wrong. Just like me selling out ALL of my cell phone charms down in Florida b4 i could show them at BCC. Oh well, selling them at all is wonderful. They sold like hot cakes too. So I am very proud of that. I am just kicking myself I didnt document them. I have LOTS of photos coming to this site. I SWEAR.

Deviant art's icon prank is definately gross. Im just glad I didnt get a twillight themed icon. Spew.

On Vacation!
Hey all,
Im currently on vacation in Florida. A nice family trip with my parents to see my brothers and their families. It will be a 2 week long vaca. How sweet is that. Sunny Florida is better then the chill cold of New England. It is also a nice break from all the work I was doing. This 2 week stretch should give my neck, and carple tunnel a nice time to recoop b4 the BIG blow out when I get back. Once I get back. I will have 2 weeks left to get everything finalized for the Cons. I will have ALL of my products finished, and I will finally have the online store up and running. All the products for sale will be on the online store before I go off to the Conventions. So you can get your products online or directly at the convention. I will be taking commissions on site and selling Comic Con exclusive sketch cards. Any sketch cards that are not sold at the con can be found online. Tho sketch cards typically sell like hot cakes. I was starting to get sluggish and a bit sloppy the last few days before the trip. I stopped working, because I would rather rest up, and do the work later at a better quality. Its not quantity...its the quality. So after I get back, I know I will be JAZZED up and Refreshed and READY FOR MORE! So very excited. Today its OFF to see brother Jimmy and sister in law Debbie and all the pups. Later see Brother Joel and lil neice Delaney. Then Brother Brian sister in law Lisa and 2 nephews Blake and Braden, and lil neice Rylee. Possibly sneek in a little Disney World in while were here. I heard talk of seeing Cirque De Soliel and going on some horse trail rides, and boating. I'm very greatful to have had this oppertunity. LATER!!! n_n

Free Ride Games
On 's page, they posted their entry for this companies logo design contest. You can vote for my Design at
[link]
I would greatly appreciate any votes going in.
Feel free to submit one yourself, and to check out Free Ride Games [link]
I have to say I drew COMPLETE inspiration from these two. I have been very RIGID in my characters lately, they are very stiff and I am trying to break that up. These 2 both have a very organic fun style. I highly recommend everyone check them out. and
Honestly I dont care if I do or do not win this contest. I have alot going on getting ready for upcoming conventions and I have been just REALLY enjoying doing work lately. I love the new techniques and people I am meeting, Alot has been going on and its just wonderful.

sketch blog?
I want to appologize for my sketch blog, I have'nt really treated it with alot of care. I have just been posting sketches that were on my computer from a LONG time ago. I've been concentrating more on my product designs and Convention work, as well as some contest entries. I am also not really enjoying the colored sketches in the sketch blog personally. The sketch blog is really just to keep me from getting rusty, and to post sketches, doodles, or anything I dont plan to take further or will address later on. I colored my posts so far. But I dont really like the way they have been coming out. So I believe from now on it will just be my normal sketchbook sketchs which are yes, in pen or pencil, I know its not real professional looking, but I do like alot of pencil work far more then when it is finished. Sometimes you loose something in the finishing or polishing process. I think I have been over thinking the sketch blog and not having as much fun with it as a I should. So that will change this weekend as soon as my entry piece is finished. So I am just appologizing for slacking on that. I am usually FAR better with multi-tasking then that. By the end of March my online store will be posted on here. Being that the products are still being made. I also don't have anyone willing to model. I dont wanna be the model myself. So I think poor ol' Stan has no choice. Stan Being my life size skeleton. If he is real popular...he may become more famous then kate moss...tho he is heavier then her. haha.

Conventions you can find me @
So I will be attending the following conventions. I will have an table at all three. Since I'm going to school in Cali, I cant do the New York Comic Con this time. I went to SDCC last year, So I'm on the waiting list for the next 4 years. To fill that void of time I will go to Conneticon instead. Their site isnt very impressive, But I hear from other artists who have gone to it that it is in fact quite good that the site doesn't do it justice. You can click on any of the images below and it will take you directly to their website.

Second Toy Design
Why not make a little space cat design. I hope to make a moon cat design after this.
what do you think vinyl or plush? Or both? I recieved alot of requests to make Zef'r a plush. I might do just that. If these little guys get popular enough who knows. Im working with Patch-togher now to see if I can make a bulk order of both of these guys and how much it will cost, If all goes well I will be selling them at the upcoming conventions. Anime Boston, Boston Comic Con, ConnetiCon. I wanted to go to San Diego comic con again this year, but sadly I have to much on my plate as is with the Webcomic. Topsy Turvy should make its debut Sept 2010 and it will be updated on time every month after that. Sorry for the delays. Busy Busy

For Chris Sanders
So if you dont already know who Chris Sanders is, he is the guy that did Lilo and Stitch, and started work on Bolt before they switched gears, NOW he is working on the awesomely hilarious looking How to Train your dragon. I am very excited about this movie. I laugh at all the commercials and I think the whole family is going to go see it. Anyway, Chris Sanders link is infact already on my page, to the right, The stars are or should be in Alphabetical order. I will post his Deviant Art link here http://alohalilo.deviantart.com
Anyway I Colored some line art of his. Im going to post the step by step of the technique. If not for anyone else but myself, I explored some new coloring tools and I want to be able to remember just what I did. It was alot of fun, I feel like I could be more daring with this because I know I get a little to rigid with my own work sometimes. I am to precious with my own characters.
